Yello Dyno programs have been used in thousands of schools and community sites throughout North America to educate and protect more than two million children. This non-fearful approach to a difficult subject makes learning easy and fun. Children of all ages are captivated by the award-winning videos. They respond openly to discussions and role-playing as they learn key safety rules, as well as the powerful "lures" used by Tricky People. Issues of abduction, molestation, child abuse, peer pressure, school bullying, and Internet safety are addressed in an age-appropriate way. All the programs build self-esteem as an effective deterrent to any form of victimization.

The Four Fundamentals taught by all Yello Dyno programs

  1. Confidence Building - A child who does not have at least some self-esteem or confidence will not believe he/she is worth saving. Teaching, then becomes difficult. Yello Dyno's unique education increases self-esteem and confidence.
  2. Learning to Recognize Tricky People - This teaching helps children recognize the deceptive behavior of Tricky People (it's not what people look like that matters, it's what they do). Nearly all child lures are deceptive in nature. Once the fundamental lures are recognized, they apply to relationships throughout a person's life, not just in childhood. This teaching also embraces and clarifies the outdated concept of "Tricky People".
  3. Learning to Recognize Early Warning Signs - Gavin de Becker, a leading authority on predicting violence, calls these "pre-incident indicators". A child must learn to recognize these warning signs in order to identify escalating problems. If warning signs can be recognized, they can usually be diffused or avoided entirely.
  4. Learning to Recognize and Trust Their Own Instincts - Children's instincts include gut feelings and intuition, not just the left brain "instructions" of nearly all other systems. Unfortunately, due to various "conditionings," many of our children have hidden, buried, or forgotten these "personal powers."

Yello Dyno helps to reopen the door and provide a healthy framework for the expression of these vital fundamentals.

What the Experts, Parents and Kids Say:

"I've reviewed many programs aimed at kids. I was most impressed with a series called 'Yello Dyno'... a musically-based educational system that helps children remember important safety information."
Gavin de Becker, one of the world’s leading authorities on personal safety and
violence protection — author of The Gift of Fear, Protecting the Gift

"The Yello Dyno program is the most effective personal safety program for kids I have seen. By using music, a colorful character and easy to remember rules, children are empowered t protect themselves. I highly recommend this program."
     Julie Parmenter, Childcare Consultant, Seattle

"The Kids LOVE the music. They LOVE it! They ask me to play it all the time. You don't realize that the safety lessons are sinking in..."
Wendy Rossworn, a mother in Florida

"It's really cool. My favorite song is 'G.O.M.F.,' especially the part that goes, 'tell that big turkey, hey, get outta my face!'"
Dusty Sageman, sixth grader, Austin, Texas
