A real-life Internet story alerts teens to potential signs of danger. Fundamental online safety rules are reviewed using thought-provoking scenes depicted in Tricky People!

Yello Dyno programs have been used in thousands of schools and community sites throughout North America to educate and protect more than two million children. This non-fearful approach to a difficult subject makes learning easy and fun. Children of all ages are captivated by the award-winning videos. They respond openly to discussions and role-playing as they learn key safety rules, as well as the powerful "lures" used by Tricky People. Issues of abduction, molestation, child abuse, peer pressure, school bullying, and Internet safety are addressed in an age-appropriate way. All the programs build self-esteem as an effective deterrent to any form of victimization.

In Yello Dyno's "Play It Safe on the Internet," children learn these safety rules:

Internet Rule 1: Knowledge is Power
Internet Rule 2: Beware of Tricky People: It's what they ask you to do that matters
Internet Rule 3: Don't open e-mails or enclosures from people you do not know
Internet Rule 4: Never respond to inappropriate or offensive messages
Internet Rule 5: Pick a safe screen name
Internet Rule 6: Don't give out personal information
Internet Rule 7: Don't tell anyone your exact age - just say you are under 18 (if you need to)
