Dr. Stanley Wilson is the founder and Executive Director of Protect-A-Child-Today! After earning is Doctorate in Psychology at California School for Professional Psychology, Dr. Wilson worked with children, adolescents and families during twenty years in private practice, and as a parent educator. As a concerned parent and children's advocate, he has long supported the development of a nationwide family education movement. Dr. Wilson is the author of several books, including Rising Above Shame: Healing Family Wounds to Self-Esteem (Launch Press, 1991, second printing January, 2002). He draws inspiration and support from his wife, an elementary teaching assistant, and daughter in college, who gives him daily instruction in the process of personal growth. Send an email.
		Judy Vanderwerf is the Associate Director of Protect-A-Child-Today! Judy has over twenty years experience in the field of parent education, including 12 years as Program Director for Children's Home Society. Judy graduated from Oregon State University and started her career as an elementary school teacher. She has served on the Board of Directors of Family Resource Coalition of Washington, facilitated parenting classes in the Puget Sound area and has worked directly with community preschools as a parent educator. Judy has been married for over thirty years, raising three children and now enjoying the delight of being a grandparent.Send an email.
